We receive a ton of emails every day with a multitude of questions. This page is designed to answer some of our most frequently asked questions. This page will continue to grow as we receive more and more inquiries. |
1. Is Remnant a clothing line? |
No, Remnant is NOT a clothing line. We are an online retail store. We do not currently design any of the products we sell. We do have our own line, but it has been put on temporary hold. |
2. Do you sell wholesale? |
| We do not manufacture any of the clothing you see on the site. Therefor we are not able to resale any of it at wholesale prices. If you wish to buy the brands that we sell wholesale you will have to research them and contact them individually. We are not at liberty to disclose our vendor contact information. |
3. Do you ship internationally? |
| We are currently shipping to the United States, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. All international orders are shipped via USPS Global Priority. All prices are listed in US Dollars and the credit card company will calculate the exchange automatically. 4. Will I have to pay additonal Taxes and Duties if I live outside of the United States? |
Taxes yes, duties no. Remnant has no control over these additional charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the price.
Taxes for Canada are typically 6-14% (depending on the Province destination) plus a $5.00 handling fee. When taxes are charged, Customs sticks a taxes-owing form on the box and the box is held by the Post Office as a COD. Recipient pays the tax/handling when the package is retrieved.
USPS however does not charge any additonal duties or brokerage fees so you will only be responsible for the taxes. |
5. I have a discount code. How do I use it? |
| On the second page of the checkout process, "Payment Information", there is a text box that says "Enter Discount Code". Simply type in your code here and the discount will be applied to your order. |
6. What types of payment do you accept? |
| We currently accept PayPal, Master Card, VISA, Discover, American Express, and ATM / Debit Cards with a VISA or Master Card logo. |
7. Do you publish a printed catalog? |
| No we do not. Our merchandise changes too often for a printed catalog to be accurate. However, our entire catalog is available online. |
8. Why are your prices so high? |
| Actually..our prices are NOT high. We promise you will not find the exact same items at a better price. We carry higher-end designer lines that can go for as much as double what we charge. If you think our prices are too high check out our competitors. We think you'll agree that we have the best prices around. |
| 9. How can I become a model? |
| We are not currently looking for new models. We have a select group of people that we like to work with and we're very happy with all of our models. We occasionally will find new models at clubs or browsing on myspace, but it is VERY rare. We have a very specific look that we go for. No offense..we think you're all beautiful....but we know what works for us. |
